NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORKSHOP

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Tonasket Planning Commission will hold a public workshop at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Tonasket City Hall located at 209 S Whitcomb Avenue or via an online meeting. The purpose of the workshop is to provide an overview of the existing Tonasket Comprehensive Plan and update process, and solicit comments from the public on land use regulation issues.  The workshop will include a presentation on the existing plan and update process. Following the brief presentation there will be a facilitated discussion driven by questions from the Commission, staff, and public with the intent to provide members of the Commission with information about any issues related to the City’s Comprehensive Plan and specifically zoning regulations. The Commission has already heard concerns about limitations on Accessory Dwelling units and encourages interested persons to participate in the workshop or submit comments in writing no later than March 15, 2021. All persons requiring assistance in accessing City Hall or accessing the online meeting platform are requested to contact City Hall at 486-2132 prior to the workshop.
