Council Vacancy Announcement

City Council Position No. 5 for the City of Tonasket is vacant. This is an opportunity for a community minded individual to serve their City. To be considered for this position, an applicant shall be a registered voter and reside within the City of Tonasket for one year.

Individuals interested in this position shall apply no later than 2:00 p.m. local time July 14, 2020. City Office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Qualified candidates may be invited to make a short presentation regarding their interests and background at the July 14th, 2020 City Council meeting. At this meeting the Council may appoint the successful candidate to the position.

Application forms are available at the Clerk’s Office, 209 S. Whitcomb Ave or on the City’s website www.tonasketcity.org. Since the office is not open to the public at this time, and you would like an application, please call 509-486-2132 prior to coming to City Hall and we will make arrangements for you to pick one up.  Applications can be mailed to City of Tonasket, P.O.
