Council Vacancy Announcement

City Council Position No. 5 for the City of Tonasket will be vacant after the

June 27, 2023 regular City Council meeting. This is an opportunity for a community minded individual to serve their City. To be considered for this position, an applicant shall be a registered voter and have resided within the City of Tonasket continuously for the past year.

Individuals interested in this position shall apply no later than 2:00 p.m. local time

July 7, 2023. City Office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Qualified candidates may be invited to make a short presentation regarding their interests and background at the July 11th, 2023 City Council meeting. At this meeting the Council may appoint the successful candidate to the position.
