The City of Tonasket is working on a store front to store front renovation project on Whitcomb Avenue called the Perfect Passage.

This project has been in the works for 20 years and is nearing final stages of planning and design.

The project includes replacing stormwater drains, drinking water lines and sewer lines. Adding in new sidewalks, trees, plants & flowers, curb ramps for strollers and wheelchairs, pavement, and art.

The City of Tonasket has engaged in a public process which included community stakeholders, City and local leaders, local youth, artists, the local Chamber of Commerce, the Economic Alliance and Economic Development District and the Washington Department of Transportation, the Department of Commerce, United States Department of Agriculture and other organizations.

The City then adopted a Master Plan to guide next steps of this project.

This Master Plan can be found at City Hall and is available to review.
